Danae is thrilled to be joining Aleksandra Bobrowska - pianist and founder of the inaugural Sirens Festival - to provide the music for a lecture recital (in Polish) featuring music by female composers (in Polish, English, French, Italian, German and Latin).
Danae will be performing the Polish premiere of Nadine Benjamin’s “Bright Star”, and Laurie Bamon’s “The life that tied too tight escapes”; and also music by Francesca Caccini, Maria Szymanowska, Mary Fauche, Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, Mario Foscarina, Cecile Chaminade, Elizabeth Maconchy, Pauline Viardot and Poldowski.
